Our Teach Truth campaign led by the Zinn Education Project Continued the momentum created by the Freedom To Learn campaign and was co-sponsored by over 50 organizations across the country including CLES. On June 10th, 2023, over 50 actions were organized at historical sites, libraries, school universities, and communities.
Stop the Attacks on Liberated Ethnic Studies
Our Stop The Attacks on Liberated Ethnic Studies campaign in California is fighting to protect liberatory Ethnic Studies educators from right-wing and state-sponsored attacks including the censorship of teaching about Palestine, concepts of settler colonialism, and Critical Race Theory.

Our Stand with Dr. Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales campaign is fighting to reinstate Dr. Tintiangco-Cubales and our coalition member Community Responsive Education’s Ethnic Studies contract at Pajaro Valley Unified School District in California, after defamatory and false accusations of antisemitism.
